SENSEI BRAD HANDELMAN
Brad Handelman has been studying Martial Arts for 32 years, and instructing for 30. He holds a 4th Degree Black Belt in Shaolin Kenpo and has extensive experience in Qi Gong, as well as meditation. He has a B.A. and M.A. in Philosophy from California State University Long Beach, specializing in Eastern Philosophy and Theory of Knowledge. Brad enjoys international travel, having visited over 40 countries worldwide. Sensei Brad greatly enjoys seeing the numerous positive benefits Karate-X brings to children and schools.
SENSEI BREndan Requa
Brendan has been a top instructor with Karate-X for eight years. He is a natural at working with kids, and over the past 23 years he has been a preschool teacher, youth sports coach, and para-educator. He has a passion for seeing kids work through challenges to be the best that they can be! Most importantly, he enjoys seeing kids have fun while learning karate.
SENSEI Ari SaltaRelli
Ari started learning Wing Chun with her father and then Shaolin Kenpo soon after. She became passionate about the art of kung fu, and the natural next step was to pass on her love of martial arts to students. She finds joy in teaching kids the different techniques, but also loves helping kids learn how to stay centered, focused and disciplined.
SENSEI Jeff Daniel
Jeff has 17 years of Martial Arts training and teaching. His primary art has been Tai Chi Chuan, although he has studied a number of other martial arts styles. His focus is on the internal aspects of the mind/body connection, learning the techniques and methods that cultivate a strong sense of how the mind and body deal with, and respond to, conflict and stress. Jeff says that teaching martial arts has been one of the most fulfilling and joyful aspects of his life.
